Hi, I’m Amritpal Singh—a Software Engineer, systems
problem solver, and lifelong learner based in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
With over a decade of experience across defense and
industrial sectors, I specialize in complex control systems, embedded
development, and performance optimization. My background spans everything from
leading motor controller software development and system-level investigations
for critical defense platforms at NAVAIR to engineering destination dispatch
algorithms and control logic for GAL Manufacturing’s elevator systems.
I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the New
York Institute of Technology and a B.Tech in Computer Engineering Technology
from NYCCT. Currently, I am expanding my strategic, managerial, and leadership
skill set as an MBA candidate in the Online MBA (OMBA) program at Boston
University’s Questrom School of Business, balancing my studies alongside my
full-time engineering work.
Beyond my core engineering role, I am deeply passionate
about developer education, technical analysis, and hands-on projects:
- Tech
Content & Education: I write tutorials and design courses on
microcontrollers (Arduino R4 WiFi), FPGA development (VHDL), and Linux
systems across my technical outlets, including Pro.Tips
and Linux.Tips.
- System
Architecture: I enjoy diving into hardware/software integration,
network infrastructure, and real-time multi-threaded software design.
- Building
& Hands-On Projects: When I'm not writing code, studying business
strategy, or analyzing systems, you'll usually find me working on DIY home
projects, garden builds, or exploring real-world engineering mechanics.
Whether it’s mission-critical hardware or personal technical
initiatives, I enjoy taking on tough problems, bridging engineering with
business strategy, and building solutions that last.
